We visited Stratford in the snow and thus tea shop was a highlight. They understood GF and had options on the menu and alternative bread products. The lemon muffins and GF scones were amazing. We visited twice as the tea was also lovely. The staff were conscientious and thoughtful especially when my husband left his bag behind
Whilst on a Bank Holiday trip to Stratford, we chose to have lunch in Benson’s because of the designated coeliac menu. The range of gluten free options was extensive and the food was lovely. The non – gluten frees in the party also enjoyed a wonderful lunch. The cosy atmosphere and friendly staff contributed to a very pleasant experience. Would definitely go back.
It’s a lovely place. I was twice there with friends and the service was very good as well. There’s an entire menu dedicated to gluten free food, the main reason why I decided to go there. Average prices. And last but not the least: very good food!! Strongly recommended.
My husband and I were in Stratford over the Easter weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Being coeliac I always have to plan ahead while eating out. I noticed from Bensons website that they had an excellent choice of gluten free options but it was the afternoon teas that really caught my eye.I reserved a table which was made ready for us even though we arrived 30 minutes early on a very busy Saturday afternoon. Our champagne afternoon teas were absolutely amazing and mine did not look or taste gluten free at all – what a treat.Staff were efficient and welcoming and we would love to return and do this again soon (if only we lived closer). Highly recommended.
